SLB— I agree that new, innovative packaging helps an established (boring?) company rebrand themselves and heighten awareness for a product that we generally take for granted. If, however, the new packaging is larger/more wasteful/less easily recycled (what would randy say?) and doesn’t really address any problems with former packaging, is it a step in the right direction, or just clutter in an already over saturated product market? I ask this not only as a sometimes-environmentalist, but as an appreciator of quality packaging/design as well. Just a thought.
